The Investment Program is normally the most popular program at the Central University of Finance and Economics, and it has always topped the list of all investment programs in China. (3) Programs and Key Modules
Key modules can be divided into four categories: Mathematics, Basic Economics and Management, Core Modules and Computer Quantitative Analysis. Mathematics courses include Advanced Mathematics (I+II), Probability Theory, Mathematic Statistics, Basic Stochastic Analysis. Basic Economics and Management courses include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Industrial Economics, Econometrics, Management Principles, Organizational Behavior, and Financial Economics. Core Modules include Corporate Finance, Investment, Investment Value Assessment, Options and Futures, Investment Banking, Private Equity and Venture Capital, International Investment, Real Estate Investment and Finance. Computer Quantitative Analysis courses include C++, Matlab Modeling, Data Structure, Management Information System, Multivariate Statistical Analysis, Quantitative Investment and High Frequency Trading.
Students enrolled in this program need to earn a certain number of credits to receive a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

There have been 23 graduation ceremonies by 2016 since the Investment and Management program was founded in 1988. More than a thousand students have started their journey from here. This program has good reputation in our society and great impact in the arena of finance and business.
(5) Employment and Further Education
After graduation, a considerable percentage of students were admitted for further education by renowned universities both at home and abroad. In the past 3 years, this figure is 61.53%, 75%, and 50.94%, respectively. Those who have been admitted by universities abroad accounts for 33.33%, 43.18%, and 32.08% during the same period of time, showing a steady upward trend, a diversity of destinations, and better choices of universities. These choices in China include Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc.; choices abroad include Columbia University, Northwestern University, Imperial College of Technology, Zurich Institute of Technology, National University of Singapore, etc. The majority of students who start working directly after graduation are employed by core business departments and management departments in influential finance institutions both at home and abroad, such as the world's leading exchange - the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Both their employment rate and the average salary 5 years after graduation top the nation, receiving overwhelmingly positive social recognition.
